Campus recruitment workshop at VVCE

The campus recruitment workshop was held at the college campus on 5th July 2008. The program was aimed at 6th semester students who were facing the campus recruitments in their final year. This was the first of its kind and students from all the branches attended the program. The program had 4 sessions in all. The first session was covered by me & Mr.Prajwal of Infosys technologies. The session included the overview of campus recruitment process, tips on resume preparation and how to prepare for the HR interviews. The second session was handled by Mr.Rahul, Mr.Manju of LSI logic, Mr.Aginesh of NXP which was about how to face the technical interviews. There was a session on experience sharing by the 2008 batch students who were recruited in campus recruitments. The final session was handled by Mr.Rohan Raju, Mr.Phani chetan of IBM and Mr.Prashant of Applied materials, who conducted a mock Group Discussion session and also gave tips on the Group Discussion.

The session was well received by the students and the participation was good. My team would like to thank all the people from the college who made this event possible. Also special thanks to Ms.Ashritha, Mr.Sunil, Mr.Akhilesh, Mr.Purushottam, Mr.Vishnu ,Ms.Arpitha all from 2008 batch who shared their campus recruitment experience with the students. The association will be organizing more events of this kind in future.
