30 years.. looking back....

Back with my short Autobiography......

Jan 29,2011... 30 years of since i am on earth.. looking back those years till now.. Experienced happy, sad, low,high and what not all moments. putting forward all those who have some time to read and comment ;).

May be call this as an autobiography in 2 pages... like a short report will be presenting only in points so that it will not take years for all to read....

Journey is been tough as all say... started life in mysore, moved to gulburga, Mandya, Mysore ,Bangalore, Melbourne, Chennai, Mysore , Bangalore, SFO and Back to Mysore...

Got to see many places as my father was frequently transferred and due to various places, Delhi, Ahemadabad .. List keeps growing..

Known as trouble maker like 'Bart simpson' i had my childhood troubled with beatings. Say what u want all beatings were done... parents had bad time controlling me.

Spent my rest of my childhood with grandparents as parents decided me to stay @ one place to continue my education.

Finished schooling @ mari's the famous school @ our times.. and college there only. No trouble for parents as academics were good and  only nominal 'Donations' were paid for my education.

Engineering was done @ famous compound less college @ that time " VVCE". After many inputs from all my juniors, the compound wall is under'construction', hopefully one day it will be 100% up.  Passed out i 2002 with flying colors and 9/11 tragedy behind us, it was hard to get jobs.. i saw many people trying for jobs, it was just a mad rush to be in job.. i even saw many of my friends joining BPO to get their livelihood going..

Mistakes started one aftr the other to happen aftr 2002, Got careless and was unable to decide my life, no guidance and lack of vision.. unable to get on to a job was stuck @ mysore ( i call this a stupid thing 2 do). Decided to do masters in late 2002 and took up IELTS and got admission to 3 aussie universities..  thought life would settle down aftr my masters...

July 9, landed on Aussie land and in a short span of time ( 2 months) Sep 4 landed back in india. I still try to figure out WTF happened there and prompted me to abandon my studies. September end was in chennai, This time with a job as i was not in a condition to show my face to any of the people here. 3 months in a leaky boat, i was able to survive there and finally decided to come back to mysore to revive myself. I had made some good friends in chennai , All mysoreans whom i can never forget. They made me to be part of their family, all were CA students who were there for their career, this made to think i also should do my masters and go with a good job.

Back to Mysore and i was in VVCE , this time as lecturer. i was now having a proper job with some backup. I planned and went to masters in 2005 @ SJCE. This time it was serious stuff, I cant afford to make mistakes... did finish my M.Tech with a Rank, which i never dreamt off and 2 job offers..  It was a jackpot.

Got to work on good projects and overall some luck in getting to shift to Mysore. Had fights, some horrible moments , some good challenges and some worst moments in last 4 years of stay... What to do part and parcel of game. Met some people who are too good friends..

2008 started with some good things , ended up in pure tragedy.... i don't want to tell that story here...

2009 passed off like that, same old stories and some good challenges at work, slogging and enjoying the work.... that was life...

2010 , some tragedies where many marriage proposals came and went like wind. a bright spot was that one  more onsite opportunity came and i was able to C USof A.  Landed in SFO, saw hong kong and was not able to enjoy US as i was tied up with work. Felt bad when i saw a person holding card and begging  for food and the co-passenger laughed and said this is how they beg, when SRK did this his ( not for food) his film ran for 100 days..  Met some special people who are so special. 2 cricket tourney wins.. attended job interview after 4 years, that was all ..

2011 began with saying goodbye to my current company, waiting for a new challenge in the new company. Waiting for my marriage to get settled or will the new company will i find that, no idea... time will tell.

Here are some special stuffs....

Some special moments in last 30 years:

• When i secured 2nd rank in my M.Tech exams to silence all critics. Hard work and Patience paid off.
• When i got my first proper job in sep 2003.
• When our cricket team at L&T infotech won the cricket tourney. ( i had played with 2 teams one in blr and other in mysore). Both victories were so special cse we snatched victory from defeat.
• When I landed in MCG for the first time in 2003.
• Visit to Stanford university in 2010.
• Watching "Pursuit of Happyness". The best ever movie i have seen till date.
•  Attending all my friends marriage without fail. This was a good experience to be part of their marriage.
• Making new friends at L&T infotech, many of them are not here, but they do keep in touch  :).
• Attending quizzes and winning them with Sandeep , Jayram..
• Weekend and long trips with the Gang. All are married so no one will organise it now..
• Got offers from the all companies which i was not able to get through in 2002 :).

Some Sad moments in last 30 years :

• It was on jan 29, 2003 when i was rejected in an interview for ITC tech support in last round. I felt so bad that day cse i had an opportunity to get an offer on my birthday. Later to see the tragedy unfold.
• Sep 4 2003, Back from Monash after unsuccessful attempt of completing my masters.
• Dec 4 2008, Had to break up my marriage proposal aftr getting to know about the future tragedy that would have happened. luckily one more disaster was averted b4 it happened. Luckily i might be lucky for the 3rd time.
• Jan 4 2011, Resigned the current company aftr having associated with them for more than 4 years.
• Dec 2001, injured my back during university sports meet, Pain still hurts....
• kept on losing at critical junctures of life either due to stupidity or due to bad decisions.

Some special people whom i met in last 30 years:

• Shubha R : Ladies first. She was the one who introduced me to IT field. Gave an opportunity to work with L&T infotech. Tx for being my mentor. 
• Vamshi, Dileepa , Sandeep Achar and their families : 3 Bonds in their fields, one professor in all aspects, one IT Gurru, other the famous HR. All these played an important part in my life, they have guided me and given me directions to be what i am today. When u need help, thy are there.  All their families are so close that on weekends i make sure i visit all their homes( not  sandeep's house now as they have shifted to bangalore).
• Keerthi and his chennai gang: These people were so friendly when i stayed in chennai. Took care of me like their family members. I never felt the need of family at that place. Friends shuld be like this.
• L.Basavaraj: The Famous Hod's, sorry for the dielog, who took care of us in engineering and also gave me a break in 2004. He was guiding me in my Education and also in some personal decisions. One person whom i can trust when i am in trouble.
• Devu : M.Tech Classmate, analyses life in a way and gives inputs which u cannot refuse to implement. A good guy to have as a friend.
• Friends  @ the company : Lot to lists, but all are so special.. so would liked not to take individual names.
• Pitil aka Srinand : The only person who makes sure that he eats my head and gives tips @least once a week. Bit annoying @ some times, but gives some valid point... The Sole patent holder in my friends gang.. 

Bucket List: ( Things to do b4 i disappear ) Not in any order...

• Watch Boxing Day test match @ MCG.
• Donate my Eyes ( i am a registered Eye donor :) )
• Watch a very good movie in empty theatre with a Special one.
• Work again with all the employers with whom i have worked till date.
• Visit as much places as possible.
• Propose a Girl and spend my rest of my life marrying her ;).
• Meet Lance Armstrong.
• Go to a place where i will b the only one and spend 2-3 days .
• Watch Vh1 storytellers live.
• Do something where people can remember it.
• Watch Tour de France!!!!
• Tatoo on my hands .....
